During Private Preview Exhibition Curator, Art Historian, Founder & Director of Kristina Art Gallery (Moscow, Russia) Kristina Kondratieva said: “Dear guests, ladies and gentlemen, we are very happy to take part in this festival “From Russia with Art”. I always want to say ‘with love’ and it’s not mistake because Russian Art and especially spiritual art, which I represent here expresses love. Love to God, to our friends, to our relatives and finally to everybody! In icons of kuznetsov’s style you will see a lot of small dots. They have different size, different color, but they look very harmonious together. Each dot in ornament image is a light of our souls. Nowadays it is very important to be able to find consensus. Art helps us. We all easily understand the language of art, the language of beauty, which art expresses. Art makes us kinder. From art we learn how to be compassionate. I wish a good luck to this Festival and all organizers. Sure, all of you will make your own amazing, surprising revelation through Sacred Russian art”.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Organizing Committee FROM RUSSIA WITH ART FESTIVAL Anastasia Katafygiotis, Anna Necludova, Natalia Gonzalez, Yulia Antishina and to all guests of the exhibition and lectures: «Orthodox icons: the history, meaning and spiritual significance» given by Rector of St. Peter and St. Paul Orthodox Church in Hong Kong Rev. Dionisy Pozdnyaev and «Kuznetsov’s Russian icons: Divine Light within» given by Exhibition Curator Kristina Kondratieva.
